Notes from the atelier
Gifting a piece from abroad: Eid, weddings, and the present that arrives from Dakar

There is a way of giving that only the diaspora knows: having the gift come from home, rather than bringing it there. A piece shaped in Dakar, shipped from Dakar, arriving with someone who recognises the gesture. It is not an object. It is a sign.
Choosing the piece for the occasion
- Eid al-Adha (Tabaski): the Tee de Ville. A piece worn on the day itself, alone or under a jacket, and every day after. Three colours, one rule: elegance without the shirt.
- A wedding: the Okonko. The bag carried everywhere, that keeps pace with the years — a gift that ages with the couple.
- A big move, a new post, a new life: the Adventure. The companion of long journeys, built to outlast the trip.
- For someone who already has everything: a bespoke piece. A skin chosen together, an order that exists only once.
The monogram
Three letters, hot-stamped, tone on tone. It is the detail that turns a piece from the house into someone's piece. We ask for the initials when you order, and we confirm the order and spelling in writing before stamping.
Ordering from abroad
Everything goes through WhatsApp, with a single point of contact who follows your order from the choice of skin to delivery. You pick the piece, leather and colour on the site; the summary opens directly in the conversation. We give you a lead time before any commitment — and for a dated gift, tell us the date: it organises everything else.
The piece can be delivered to you abroad, or straight to Dakar, to the person you are giving it to. The second is often the finer gesture: the gift arrives from home, and all you had to do was want it.
You are unique. Show them.
What we do not do
We do not promise a lead time the atelier cannot keep, and we do not stamp a monogram without your written approval. A gifted piece is hard to remake. We would rather make it once, well.
